ICSID released its 2020 Annual Report today, featuring an in-depth look at the Centre's activities over the past fiscal year (July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020). Features include:

- A complete list of new designations and re-designations to the ICSID Panels of Arbitrators and of Conciliators

Highlights from the 2020 fiscal year include:
- Djibouti became ICSID's 155th Member State, having deposited its instrument of ratification with the World Bank on June 9, 2020
- ICSID Member States made 90 designations to the ICSID Panels, bringing the overall number of Panel appointees to 687
- 40 new cases were registered and a record 68 cases concluded
- Individuals of 44 nationalities were represented amongst the appointments made in the fiscal year, marking the greatest diversity of nationality in arbitrator, conciliator and ad hoc committee member appointments in a single year at ICSID
- ICSID published two working papers with proposals for amendment of the ICSID rules during the fiscal year and representatives of Member States met in November 2019 for a third in-person consultation
